“My work with horses has been a life long journey and passion, which started over 40 years ago at an equine rescue facility. The nurturing and rehabilitation of these majestic animals jump-started my understanding of how they are mistreated and misunderstood. Their hearts are forgiving and willing to release to move past emotional trauma. This was an eye-opening observation to the lessons I learned from working with horses. I continue to work with horses and owners in relationship training to teach the True Nature of the Horse, helping the human to develop an understanding from the horse’s prospective. While working in the horse and human relationship field, I started looking at other areas where the horses were making an impact on personal growth and health. My work evolved into this field of working with youth and adults on physical, mental and emotional levels.
Over the last 20 years, I have worked in the method of Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy with organizations and therapists. This work has allowed me to hone my skills and knowledge to develop programs, to train staff, and to lead facilitation teams. I am living my dream and mission by contributing to the emotional and social growth of participants in engaging, stimulating, equine activities that have current real-life content.” - Kim Seng
